Made of high-tech breathable materials with oil leather and an ergonomic design with a very soft, non-slip, rubber Vibram sole, make this shoe ideal for all terrains. Technologies
With the Spotex membrane, rain and snow cannot easily penetrate the shoe. Sweat is instead led to the outside through the thousands of micropores of the membrane. So your feet will definitely stay dry and warm, no matter how cold it gets. Spotex is a Grisport patent.
Brake System (BS): is a system in the shoe’s laces, which brakes the foot to stay in place on steep descents.
The Support System is a revolutionary support system for the heel. It essentially locks the heel into the shoe, so the foot has maximum stability, even on the roughest terrain.
Anti-tentonitis relief: it is a special system that reduces the tension of the tendon above the heel when walking.
Each Vibram sole is specifically designed to offer maximum comfort and durability, even for the most demanding. With over 60 years of experience, it produces 50 sole blends, each of which is individually subjected to rigorous testing and very strict controls.
Waterproofing Technologies
The easiest way to make a boot 100% waterproof or watertight would probably be to laminate it on the outside, but then our feet would get soaked from the sweat created by long hours of walking. This is exactly why the use of membranes is the golden mean to keep the feet dry from external water, but without stopping transpiration. The leading membranes are Sympatex and Goretex, where they are also used in clothing. Grisport uses Sympatex as the top of the range, followed by German-made Spotex, and finally Gritex, which has been developed by its technicians.
